Mother’s Day is this Sunday, May 14. It is a great day to really acknowledge Mom. My mother is incredible. She has taught what is right and what is wrong (I may not always follow her advice) and has always been there for me. She loves me.
I am in my early sixties and she will still make sure I have a stocking at Christmas and a bit of chocolate at Easter. She al-ways reminds me to wear a coat in cool weather and to drive safely. She loves me.
I love how she prepares all my favourite meals when I am visiting. She knows what I love. And she is concerned about my health. She knows that I love sweet things but that I am trying to avoid diabetes so she watches for suitable foods for me. She loves me.
I will not get to see Mom this Mother’s Day as she is living in Vernon. I am bad at sending cards but I will give her a call.
I hope you all get a chance to connect with your Moms out there. Loving your family is generally a good way to go.
It should be nice weather so if your Mom is around get her out for a walk or a picnic. I know my Mom would love that.
