Observing things on Facebook often instills a lot of thought processes for me. Saw a great saying today, “If you want to, you can find a million reasons to hate life and be angry at the world. Or if you choose, you can find a million reasons to love life and be happy.”
Choose wisely my friends because really, you are the only person that is directly affected by your attitude. Every moment of every day, we all choose how we are feel-ing about things.
Myself, I am in the middle of all of that. I love to dive into self-pity about my health issues. It is very effective at giving me de-pression, which I will touch upon a lot as the paper moves forward – kidney failure is becoming old and repetitive news
But I also have moments of being on the good side. I do see the beauty in so many things and accept all of the blessings I receive with joy. The love of my dog, my family and my friends is all amazing.
But sometimes I focus on the friends who have become absent, whether they are busy with their own lives or creeped out by being around a cancer patient, I often take it personally. And there is that negative slide.
So try to choose the happy feelings. Try to see all the amazing things that happen around you. Things that should make you smile if you took the time to enjoy them. It will make your days so much more pleas-ant for you.
Believe me. I live this roller coaster, the same as you do, every single day.
