Multiple personalities. We all have them. We all act differently with our best buddies than we do with our spouse and children or our coworkers. It is a natural behavior pat-tern for humans. We want to fit in where we are at any given moment.
I believe that I am the worst. My friends often say that someone else must write The Valley Peak as it seems to be full of all this positive energy and inspirational ad-vice. Unlike my normal personality.
Apparently, when around my close friends, I am a pretty heavy whiner and complain-er. It is kind of comical when I get remind-ed of my own writings.
I believe in what I write; be kind, love eve-ryone, don’t judge. But I often catch myself doing the exact opposite. I take solace in the fact that I am quickly aware of when I am being a jerk and that is growth. I just have to figure out how to stop it ahead of time, rather than reflecting on it later.
It is always an incredible moment when I am in the middle of one rant or another and a reader will pass by and remind me that they like The Valley Peak and it often inspires them to do better. So I strive to do better myself. I can feel it when I am doing the wrong thing or thinking the wrong thoughts.
I hope you all have a happy, loving, giving, kind week. We can all do better as none of us will ever be perfect.
