It is Easter this weekend and that brings a lot of things to the valley. Valley visitors are a great addition, as is chocolate.
Many folks entertain different traditions, from hiding eggs to family meals to attend-ing Church services.
Easter is a Christian-based holiday, representing the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
But many folks really couldn’t care less about the Christian part. For them it is family and fun time.
I think the important thing is to just let everyone enjoy it however they like. It is not for any of us to judge the beliefs or disbeliefs of others. Accepting people for who they are is a good, positive attitude that should be shared by everyone.
So don’t worry about what other folks are up to this weekend. Enjoy in the way that you feel comfortable.
My weekends are basically putting together The Valley Peak but I hope to get a good meal or two and some time fishing to help me enjoy Easter. And I will likely at-tend the Kinsmen Beach combined Christian ‘Sonrise’ devotional service at 7:30 am on Sunday. Have a great Easter folks.
