There are a lot of things in this world that make no sense. A lot of hate and anger, judgement and competition. This brings a lot of sadness, stress and depression.
I love the old song by ‘Ten Years After’. “I’d love to change the world, but I don’t know what to do. So I leave it up to you”. An incredibly insightful statement.
What can we do to change the world? It is an interesting question and I have two short answers for you.
It may not be easy for one person to change the whole world but you can cer-tainly change one person’s world and be-lieve me, that can be contagious. Just something as simple as holding a door open or smiling at someone can change their energy and attitude instantly and they will carry that on to their next few interac-tions. It can grow fast.
The other thing to do is lead by example. Standing back and criticizing or judging is a waste of time and generates awful ener-gy. Lead by example. Be kind and helpful.
You may not be able to change the whole world instantly, but you can change the world around you by changing how you perceive things and just stepping up and doing what is right.
