I wish you all warm thoughts of the many things to be thankful for. I have tried to list some of my thanks through the paper but there are far too many to include them all.
This weekend is when people try to be more conscious of what they are thankful for. We all have a lot of blessings but we often tend to lose sight of them. Sometimes we focus on how our neighbours have more. The problem with comparing to others is that we can always find someone with more or better stuff. Instead, celebrate what you do have. And share it with those who have less. A great way to realize your blessings is to help someone else.
And then, to turn every day into ‘Thanksgiving’ day. To wake every day and actually see some of the great things around us. To celebrate our life each day. Do you wake up and say, “Good morning, God,” or do you wake up and say, “Good God, morning.”?
