Human nature is a wonderful and puzzling thing. Pretty much from the time we are in our teens, we believe we know a lot (if not everything) about anything that is important.
As we get older (and supposedly wiser) we begin to realize that actually, we knew very little back then but now we know it all. When I was twenty I discovered how naïve I was as a teenager.
When I was thirty, I finally knew it all, not like it was when I was only twenty.
The other day I had someone stress to me that they knew everything about themselves and their body (at the age of 35). It reminded me of myself. It is amazing how much my life has changed and my body has changed since then.
Well now I am in my early 50s, and I do most certainly know everything. At least if you listened to me yapping away, that is the impression that you would get anyway. But what I do know for sure, is that I actually know very little. I have opened my mind to learning every single day of my life and potentially every moment of my life. There is so much out there and so much within us that we will always be learning more. At least I have learned that much!
